From verifying proper installation to maintaining proper airflow calibration over the whole life of the system, Trane heating and cooling products are always talking to one another about how to keep your family comfortable.
Advanced technology inside specific air conditioning and heating system products allows components to commu
nicate with one another. That way they’re always automatically configured and calibrated to your preferred settings, and constantly troubleshooting to achieve utmost efficiency, year after year.
If you want to join the conversation to monitor or adjust settings, you can call in at any time, no matter where you are, with the Telephone Access Module (TAM).
If you opt to use the new XL900 Series Comfort Control instead, you still have only one central resource that links all the communicating components in your system.
ComfortLink II communicating technology connects all the key system components in your Trane system and enables remote telephone access. The system components work together to calibrate your system and maximize efficiency.
With the Telephone Access Module (TAM), your system will send system alerts to your cell phone, and receive remote commands from you to adjust temperature and climate. Together, the Comfortlink II system adds up to control and optimal performance.
The Telephone Access Module (TAM)
The Telephone Access Module (TAM) is the remote connection to your Comfortlink system, allowing you to control your heating and air conditioning system no matter where you are.
In addition assuring your home is perfectly comfortable before you even walk in the door, with the TAM you can receive proactive alerts:
- Power outage and low battery
- Auxiliary inputs
- High & low pre-set temperature limits exceeded
Using the Telephone Access Module (TAM) is as easy as operating your voice mail. Simply dial in with your pass code for a menu of remote options.
